Inn on St Peter

Lovely quirky hotel, bit unsure initially from outside but been refurbished recently so great room. Nice little courtyard just to sit. Perfect location to walk everywhere but not noisy at night

This is a charming little place in a great location. The rooms are spacious and provide all of the expected amenities. My biggest complaints would be that the bathroom could use a good deep clean and it's quite noisy when other guests come and go. Overall, this is a decent option for a stay in the French Quarter.

I had a wonderful stay at Inn on St. Peter! The location truly can’t be beat — right in the heart of the French Quarter, close enough to walk to everything but still tucked away enough to feel comfortable and relaxed. The historic charm of the building really adds to the experience. The courtyard was peaceful and such a nice place to unwind after a busy day exploring. The room was clean, cozy, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a place that feels authentic to New Orleans while still being convenient and comfortable, I would absolutely recommend the Inn on St. Peter. I’d definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the 2 room suite and it was great for our family of 7. The walk to Jackson Square and Bourbon Street was not far, yet we didn’t have to listen to all the noise! I will stay here every time we come to New Orleans. I will say the rooms were on the warm side, but it is expected for an older building with original windows in 100 degree Summer. They stayed about 76, which was so much cooler than outside.

Our stay was lovely. We stayed in room 18 and it was perfect for 2 people. The decor was lovely and i loved the chandelier. Location is perfect as it’s a few blocks off Bourbon street so it’s quiet but it’s close to literally everything. Local saloon across the street. Cute balcony with chairs where you can watch the world go by. Can’t comment on the services as we only stayed there 3 nights and denied any sort of room service. I’d stay here again for sure.

Absolutely wonderful stay, I am an avid solo traveler. I booked this room because of the great rate- was expecting a normal budget hotel accommodations. WRONG! This was better than some of my 5 star hotel stays. Amazing staff, extremely clean, and great location. Best of all price! Would recommend to any female solo travelers!

I recently (June 2025) stayed at a sister guest house nearby. So, loving that placed I booked it again. Got to the office and was told they had overbooked. No problem, I'll find somewhere else. The guy at the front desk was able to get me a room at the Inn on St. Peter. I walked over, just a few blocks away. Check-in at the front desk was a breeze, and the guy at the front desk was very hospitable. He walked me to my room and offered suggestions while staying in the area. Y'all, the room was far better than I could have imagined. Large living room/sitting area, great water pressure, comfortable bed, and more. Unfortunately, the only parking is street parking in a residential area so no parking over 2 hours between 9am and 7pm (I think were the hours). They do offer parking a few blocks away in an open parking lot, but I believe it's around $40 for 24 hours. Overall, great place to stay, loved the room (I believe it was room 21) and customer service!
